In an attempt to follow our State and Federal guidelines and out of an abundance of caution, Hula Grill Waikiki will be temporarily closed until further notice. We are dedicated to reopening as quickly as we can and look forward to serving you again very soon. Mahalo for your Kokua and for your continued support.
Hula Grill Waikiki presents the 13th Annual E Ola Mau Ka Hula on Wednesday, September 18th from 3-5pm
This year’s honoree is Robert Uluwehi Cazimero.
A proud student of Hula Master Maiki Aiu Lake, Robert Uluwehi Cazimero, debuted his Hālau at the King Kamehameha Day Hula competition in 1975. Now in their 44th year, Hālau Na Kamalei o Līlīlehua has become the prominent men’s Hālau of Hawai’i. Robert is a leader in the Hawaiian Renaissance, placing men hula in the forefront and through his musical talents, he showcased one of Waikīkīʻs longest-running shows featuring his men and dancers of the Royal Dance Company. Keeping a promise he made to his Kumu Hula, he continues to inspire a new generation of men hula. Hula Grill Waikiki honors Kumu Hula Robert Uluwehi Cazimero with the 2019 E Ola Mau Ka Hula award.
We hope you can join us! Please RSVP below by September 11.
